The Power of One™
Empowering You to Stabilize Your World.™
You may be successful, trusted by your clients with their most sensitive affairs; finance, legal, small/family business. You’re indispensable. But the same instinct that makes you exceptional has exhausted you.
I can help you, let’s get to the bottom line.
The first step is to help you leverage the Power of One ™. You will become the “stabilizer”, the highly motivated person, with the skills to generate stability, clarity, compassion, and agreement across all your important relationships.
The second step in the private sessions is to empower you with skills, tools and awareness to neutralize conflict, create agreement, and destabilize saboteurs.
Relationship dynamics got you down?
You have a painful relationship • You can’t find the words to say what you need to say to someone you care about • You feel like you need to learn the fine art of verbal self defense, conflict resolution, de-escalation • You’re tired of carrying everybody's load
Work has taken over?
Dealing with office politics, turf issues, and saboteurs • Facing “existential angst” because high achievement didn’t bring happiness • Feeling drained with family business feuds • Or overburdened by an adult child who “fails to launch.”
Who I Work With
Different Relationships. The Same Human Problems.
Whether the relationship is personal or professional, the struggles look a lot alike: turf battles, office politics, saboteurs, defensiveness, and stuck thinking. Handling them well takes emotional intelligence and relationship skills most of us were never taught.
“The office politics at my job are intense. You’re my secret weapon. You help me get inside their heads and “script” important conversations. ”
“We were a feuding family business and you helped me take charge and learn how to stop the fighting so we could get together and do what was best for everybody.
“I was way out of balance in the work/life arena. I’d been unable to find love and ultimately wanted to get married. We finished our work together when I balanced my life, got married and had my first baby.” - L.C.
“You helped me see how I accidentally escalated my conflicts and how to “Script” the right words to defuse the situation. I am enormously relieved.”
“After the communication coaching I received from you, I ranked top in "Emotional Intelligence" in our company. I became lead salesman in a 400-person sales force. Thank you.”
“I’ve gotten more in 2 hours with you than I have in 2 years with another coach.”
The Exhausted Executive: The Overly Responsible Daughter Syndrome
(and yes, it’s men too)
You’re typically highly successful, trusted by high-profile clients with their most sensitive affairs: financial, legal, sometimes even end-of-life decisions for entire families. You’re so good at it that you become indispensable. But the same instinct that makes you exceptional at work started in a house where you had to be the one who held everything together, often while other family members did not.

I see this in about 30% of my clients.
The cost shows up quietly. No boundaries, because no one ever modeled them. No real skill for conflict resolution, only a lifetime of absorbing everyone else's conflict instead. Sixty-hour weeks, a life that looks enviable from the outside, and almost nothing left for yourself.
This phenomenon usually starts in childhood. You’re the oldest or middle child, the family mediator, carrying weight no child should carry. That role doesn't stay in childhood. You grow into the person everyone else leans on, because you know what to do. You’re a natural leader, sophisticated problem solver, reliable, and trustworthy. You carry the “weight of the world” on your shoulders.
However, no one taught you how to take care of yourself.
The wake-up call is usually personal. A health scare. An accident. A quiet, sudden realization that no one in your life is looking out for you the way you look out for everyone else. That's where the real work begins.
About
Donna LeBlanc, M.Ed., NYMCH
“The skills that heal a marriage are the skills that resolve a boardroom standoff.”
I’ve spent over three decades as a psychotherapist, executive coach, life coach, intuitive communication and conflict resolution specialist. Somewhere in those decades, sitting across from executives one day and feuding family businesses the next, I noticed the human dynamics were the same. Sibling rivalry at home is turf battles and office politics at work. And the "scripting" that calms a family feud can also help you close a deal.
-
Along the way, I became a bestselling author of "You Can't Quit 'Til You Know What's Eating You" and "The Passion Principle." I've taught at conventions and run my own program in a psych hospital.
As seen on: MSNBC, Inside Edition, Montel, Sally Jessy Raphael, and Queen Latifah.
What all of it taught me is the power one person has to create breakthroughs in their communication and relationships.
We are all part of the same human family, with the same needs: to connect, to be heard, and to find the right words when it matters most. Everyone has a defensive side and an open side. When tension rises, the guard goes up, and learning to speak to the open side, in yourself and in the other person, is where real change starts.
Building emotional intelligence (EQ) is the most important skill most of us were never taught.
